As a request, I got permission from the fire chief to set this siren off for me. This is a 10/12 Port Federal Sign and Signal 500-SHTT running in Attack signal which is what they use everyday for fire calls. According to Ron W's information, This siren was first installed in March of 1970 which was used as a Tornado Siren back then and this siren replaced an old Sterling that apparently got damaged by a lightning strike. This siren also got refurbished in 2008 and still remains at the Dundee Fire Dept. I hope you all enjoy.
