The goal with this plane was to make a stable KFM-2 Delta wing GoPro/FPV platform. Had some problems with micro vibrations on the first version and hopefully the carbon rod reinforced version will provide more stability.

Prop: 9 x 6
Motor: 1400KV / 88,3gram / 420W
ESC: 40A (I should have used 50A ++)
Battery: 3cell (11.1V) 2650mAh (25-50C) (when using GoPro) // 4000mAh 3cell without GoPro
RC Receiver: 35MHz full range dual conversion (corona)

Built entirely out of depron (laminated with packing tape). Bottom is made of two x 6mm sheets (Used two instead of one on this plane to have something to dig the carbon rods into) and the KFM-2 profile is made out of two x 6mm. See video 2:55 & 3:18 for drawings. Didn't make any plans for the wingtips since almost anything will work just fine.

Motor might be a little over sized and it may be a good idea to use a smaller motor with less watt the next time. The plane goes nose up when throttle is increased. However running on cruising speed using less than half throttle it flies real good.

I'm really looking forward to test the plane with a GoPro on a calm day.

This plane is based on Schraut5's FPV40 (thanks for the inspiration!)

It might be a good idea to make a KFM-4 version of this plane instead of a KFM-2:

Update: I have now made the KFm4 version of this plane:
