Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures review - The 8-Bit Duke.
Duke loves Pac-Man, Pac-&-Pal, Super Pac-Man, Pac-Mania, Pac-Attack, and every Pac in between....but what about this "interactive cartoon" from 1994?

Billed as a direct sequel to the pill munching goodness that was the original Pac-Man, Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures finds the player in the role of an observer with a slingshot, shooting at objects and directing Pac-Man's attention towards objects in an effort to shepherd the Pac toward his goals.

Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures was released in Japan as Hello! Pac-Man. Pac-Man 2's departure from the Maze Game style of play left a bad taste in players mouths, possibly because it did not feature arcade style gameplay like Pac-Land, but instead felt like an episode of the cartoon series from the mid 1980's.

Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures was released on the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo, and has not been featured in any collections of Pac-Man games published by Namco since its release.

Watch this awesome video from PortsCenter about Fury of The Furries, which eventually became another crazy Pac-Man game: Pac-In-Time!
