They are a good alternative for high voltage lamps.LED strobes have different circuit design from primitive transistor circuits to controller-based designs.Here is the circuit of a LED strobe based on all-liked timer 555. It will take lots of time to mention all its virtues and advantages as well as electronic applications.Let me briefly describe the LED strobe design. The circuit is based on timer 555. This chip has numerous absolute analogues from various manufacturers including the national KR1006VI1.The circuit has one more critical component. This is a field-effect N-channel MOSFET transistor used as a power supply switch for a LED or a group of LEDs. Note that you can use low-voltage transistors.The variable resistor sets the frequency rate of LED flashes; resistor R1 sets their duration and resistor R2 controls the maximum frequency. You should select the limiting resistor that fits respective LEDs.The circuit has the power supply voltage of 12 Volts and the minimum absorbed current.
