BMO Buddy is my current after-work project to make a real life version of the character BMO (Pronounced "Bee-mo"), the sentient game console from the Cartoon Network show Adventure Time.

While far from complete, this very first version of the BMO Buddy can talk and animate her eyes and mouth. She is controlled by an Arduino Mega microcontroller, her face is a 2.8 inch touchscreen (Touch input causes her to speak), she talks through use of an emic2 speech synthesis chip, she is powered by a 9-volt battery inside her back plate, and her case was made with a desktop 3D printer. She is about the size of two cans of cola sitting side by side, and she is full of adorable BMO cuteness!

I'll upload more videos as I add more features, and I'll try to add schematics and more detailed info on my website. Stay tuned!
