These are Solótica contact lenses in Natural Colors Quartzo and Hidrocharme Mel on brown eyes in direct artificial lighting. These are the annual lenses, not the Solflex ones.

To start off the review, I'll throw it out there that I was NOT sponsored to make this video. I purchased these lenses with my own money and my review is totally honest.

They slide around on the iris a tiny bit because my eyes' base curve is not 100% compatible with these lenses, but they are still comfortable and the sliding isn't noticeable at all from a normal distance.

I rate both colours 10/10 because they are extremely beautiful. The Mel looks more natural from up close, but the Quartzo is more vibrant. Both look very natural in real life on my eyes and for my skin tone. No one has asked me if I am wearing contacts -- they assume that my eye colour is real.

Solótica brand are a bit less comfortable than other lenses I've tried, but as long as you don't wear them for too long they shouldn't be uncomfortable. The look of these lenses more than makes up for the slight discomfort. I have worn them before for 11-13 hours without any problems. It's best to carry rewetting drops and a spare contact lens case (and glasses if you use these lenses with a prescription) with you if you are going to be out all day, just in case.

In the video, you will notice that the limbal rings on both lenses look about the same. I see on the Internet that people are afraid to buy the Hidrocharmes because of the thick limbal ring, but it is not much different from the Quartzos and it is definitely not "fake" looking, so don't be scared to buy them!

I used to own a pair of Natural Colors Topazios as well, and they do not look as nice on me as either of these lenses. The Topazios didn't have much of a limbal ring, and the colour was a very bright blue -- almost comparable to the Sólotica Azuls. The pupil hole in the Topazios is also much less feathered than both the Quartzos and the Mels, so that's another reason why they don't look as realistic and can look a little "derpy" in photos if the pupil holes don't match up with your pupil exactly.

For someone with pale, cool-toned skin and darker hair, I think the Topazios would look great. For those with warm/yellow based skin (even if pale skinned like me), Mels and Quartzos look more lovely.

However, even though the Topazios do not look as realistic as the other two, they are still way more beautiful and realistic than Freshlooks, Acuvue, and other North American lenses. There is no comparison -- Solótica is the best!
