This is a new experience I've put together in Unity 5. The objective is to survive. Here's a demo video showing me playing it through. The premise is, you begin on the RMS Titanic 2.5 minutes before it hits the iceberg. You must figure out a way to survive the sinking and safely be rescued.

This video shows how to survive.

This demonstrates the new realtime global illumination in Unity 5. It is also a really tricky thing - because realtime GI is 'baked', and I wanted the Titanic to sink, which meant it had to move and tilt and disappear beneath the water.

The trick was to move the ocean, and not the boat. In this example, though it may not appear obvious, the boat never moves (so its baked lighting and indirect lighting remains intact), but the horizon tilts, the camera tilts and the physical gravity changes so you always appear to be falling 'down'.

See if you can survive - the link to this is here:

I know this isn't 100% accurate to the accounts of the movie, the history books, etc., but my goal here was just to replicate how it might have felt to be in such a terrible and dire situation. Yes, the ship broke in half. No, there was no moon visible in the sky on the night it sank.

As the world around you literally sinks into the abyss, what do you do?
