This is a quick and easy tutorial on how to do the Spektrum module hack on a FrSky Taranis radio. Never mind the complicated schematics designed for electrical engineers. This is a step by step video on what it should look like and what you need to complete it. Below will be a list and links to the items needed. This is the simplest way to do this hack. Enjoy.

Items needed:
-Spektrum Dx5e RF module from a Dx4e radio.[Inside every Dx4e is a Dx5e module, there is no actual Dx4e module]
-3.3v UBEC from hobbyking [$3.80]
-1N4007 Rectifier diode from RadioShack [I mistakenly called it a resistor in the video] It's the black thing with the grey stripe. [$2.09]
-4.7 kohm Resistor [$1.19]
-JR style module case [$8.58] or cheaper here [$4.95i]
-SMA Antenna [this is the one I used $2.99] ...or this one is good too [$6.00] ...or ...or [$5.50]
-4 pin servo connectors [$1.54]
-Hot Glue gun
-Solder iron
-Flux [Optional]
