We hope this short video will help and inspire you to build your own rabbit hutch! The long horizontal cross pieces on the top and bottom of the hutch are 2 X 4's - 8 feet in length. The four corner posts are 2 X 4's cut to 5 feet. The 2 X 4 small cross pieces on each end are 35 inches. The four divider panels are made from 2 X 2's and their finished dimensions are 36 inches in length and 24 inches high. The divider panels are spaced every 24 inches and are screwed down into 2 X 4 crosspieces that are 35 inches in length and vertically attached to the horizontal 2 X 4s. Important note: If I had to build it again I would make the divider panels 34 inches in length, thus eliminating the 1/2 inch to 1 inch shelf created from the long horizontal 2 x 4's. When the rabbit eliminates in the corner of her hutch, the feces will then go right through and not collect on this very small corner. Hope that makes sense!!
