DIY Big Bore Air Rifle "Slam Yang" Breaks Cinder Block

I decided to make a big bore air rifle recently and made this video when the rifle build was far enough along for the new rifle to be fired. I call it "Slam Yang" after the Sam Yang big bore air rifles. This is a single shot pre-charged pressure air rifle. It has a steel air tank with a ball valve for filling either off a shop air compressor or from my fridge compressor setup for high pressure. A QEV is used for the valve, it has a 3/8 NPT Out and 1/4 NPT In and Pilot. The QEV is piloted by a shop blowgun for testing purposes. This will be replaced by a proper handgrip and trigger, piloting will be by hammer valve or solenoid valve. This rifle currently has two barrels. The first is a copper barrel, cal .565, 40 inches long, four groove rifling, breech loading, breech opening is long enough to fit an AA battery. The second barrel is copper, 36 inches long, cal .812, not yet rifled, muzzle loading. The rifle only has iron sights so far, but I will be providing means to mount a scope. The test target is a concrete cinder block. My first two shots just hit the edge, but then I got a more solid hit and broke the block. Firing pressure was about 400 psi, range was 10 meters. Slow motion recorded at 240 frames/sec.

I got to chronograph this later on. A 500 grain slug was used, pressure was 475 psi, and the velocity was 440.5 fps.
