14 permanent strong magnets in the rotor alternating north and south pole and 21 3-phase field coils. 14 pole motor, 7 sine cycles per rotation. Disc diameter about 30cm and 1cm thick.

A motor design could be as simple as a sandwich of two coil plates with bearings at their center through which the rotor axle is supported. with two coil plates the forces should be balanced. the spin of the rotor will force air through the coil holes. coil is 2mm wire, 4x4 winding as an example.
Magnets are 50x10mm pucks. the coils could be supported in the inside with a copper or alu ring with a plastic or ceramic insert at one point so it isn't a circuit ring and Lenz resist magnet travel.

The advantage of no iron would be low weight and high efficiency, particularly at low torque cruise which will be key for future vehicles.
