Yamaha planning 155cc Nmax scooter for India?
Posted by: Parichay Malvankar April 22, 2015 in Bike News, News 0 Comments

After the launch of the commuter motorcycle Saluto, Yamaha has multiple performance motorcycles India-bound. These include the MT-25, YZF-R3, MT-07 & MT-09. However, this doesn’t mean the scooter segment is on a backfoot. Yamaha has imported a 155cc scooter to India, which we assume is the Nmax power scooter.
Details: SCOOTER (CROSS TRADE) FOR R&D PURPOSE-2DP100-010D YAMAHA SCOOTER DISPLACEMENT: 155.1CC FRAME NO: *MH3SG3110FK004000* ENG
The NMAX is powered by a 155cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, single-cylinder petrol motor producing 15 BHP of power and 14.4 Nm of torque mated to a CVT transmission. Backed by the Blue Core technology, expect decent fuel efficiency figures as well.

Turn indicators on front apron
Telescopic front fork
Front & rear disc brakes
13″ Alloy wheels
Long contoured seats

If launched, it could accompany the upcoming power scooters such as Hero MotoCorp Zir & Honda PXC 150.
