We spend a couple days in the northern section of Chobe National Park in Botswana. This area has the largest concentration of elephants in the world and is one of the few places where lions can kill a full grown elephant. We then travel south to Savuti encountering a traffic jam in the middle of a deserted section of road. Some 4x4 skills cam in handy to avoid a sideswipe and extricate our vehicles from colliding with another vehicle that should not have been there. See thumbnail. Then we arrive in Savuti Camp and encounter even more elephants and some are not very friendly.
