This shows the Mod I did to make my Dye i4's or any similarly profiled mask fit Dye i4's
Mask: Dye precision Dyecam Dye i4 with HD lens
Helmet: Emerson tactical FAST helmet (Multicam)
You will need:
Scissors/ plyers that are strong enough to cut though thin plastic
Flathead screwdriver
YOUR DAMN COMMON SENSE!

**THIS MIGHT NOT FIT EVERYONE! I WOULD NOT SUGGEST THIS MOD IF YOU HAVE A BIG HEAD AS THERE IS NO GUARANTEE IT WILL FIT, NOR CAN I GUARANTEE IT WILL WORK WITH ANY OTHER MASK MOD AT YOUR OWN RISK**

Steps:
1: Place cutting tool , screwdriver, and FAST helmet on a comfortable and ideal workplace where small parts won't disappear.
2: Using the flathead screwdriver, remove the two screws at the front of the ARC rails (side closest to the NVG mount) be careful as two parts will fall out of each side, A screw and a nut type of thing. DONT LOOSE!
3: The helmet straps will fall loose at the front, thats ok because now there is nothing holding it in place. Now you will see that the helmets retention system is almost like bolted onto a piece of foam, gently pull the foam off, it is velcroed to the helmet.

4: Take a look at the newly exposed side of the foam, you will realise that the two bolts are key'd in, what you will have to do is to remove the foam from the retention strap by curving the plastic.

5: Take the cutting tool and safely cut the retention strap. Cutting places might vary but it CANNOT be past where the plastic posts on each side meet the helmet, it must be before that. cut loose both sides.

6: Now from the plastic piece you just cut off, there should be a layer of very soft padding. gently remove the padding from the plastic.

7: Place the plastic padding at the front of your helmet where the foam piece was, this will prevent your mask's lens from getting scratched from plastic on plastic friction... if you know what i mean ;)

8: Reassemble your helmet, all you need to do now is to Reassemble your helmet
